Get into the spirit of Christmas with Charles Dickens’ timeless tale brought to life in the historic grandeur of the Great Chamber.

Join us for a special festive treat as Charterhouse resident and actor, Mansel David, performs his new solo adaptation of "A Christmas Carol”, performing the stories well known characters including Ebenezer Scrooge, Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim. Trained at the celebrated Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Mansel has spent his career as a professional actor in theatre, television and radio. He also toured an adaptation of Dickens’ Nicholas Nickleby internationally.

Mansel will transport you to the heart of Victorian London for the evening.

 

6pm: doors open, mulled wine and mince pies

6.30pm: performance in the Great Chamber (90 mins without interval)

8pm: event finishes
