Step through the gates of the historic Charterhouse this December for a memorable festive celebration.
Begin your afternoon with a welcoming glass of chilled Valentin Leflaive Champagne and an exclusive walk through the indoor highlights of our historic house. Afterwards, take your seat in the magnificent Great Chamber, London’s only surviving Tudor Great Chamber, where Queen Elizabeth I once held her first Privy Council and signed letters "from the Royal Palace in London".
Enjoy a luxurious festive afternoon tea featuring gourmet savoury creations such as honey-roasted ham with truffle mayonnaise, and classic Scottish smoked salmon, cream cheese and dill sandwiches. Indulge in exquisite patisserie including rhubarb and strawberry Tonka crumble, gold-flecked Jivara chocolate praline bars with chocolate chantilly, and raspberry choux filled with pistachio crème mousseline, all to savour while accompanied by a classically trained pianist performing elegant festive arrangements on the room’s grand piano.
